This product provides clear weatherproof protection against deterioration caused by de-icing salt, gasoline, oil, weathering and efflorescence(white, powdery, salt-like deposits visible on masonry). DRYLOK’s unique SaltLok Technology penetrates into the surface providing superior resistance to unsightly efflorescence staining often visible on brick, block and poured concrete surfaces. DRYLOK Concrete Protector seals bare masonry surfaces against dusting staining, surface cracking and pock marking. Soap and water clean-up. Ideal primer prior to applying latex masonry coatings.

There is nothing more unsightly than the white blemishes that form on masonry surfaces. This white powder residue is called efflorescence. Efflorescence occurs with all masonry and is caused when soluble salts and other water dispersible materials come to the surface of the masonry and mortars. It's induced by low temperatures, moist conditions, condensation, rain, dew and water added to the surface of fresh concrete to assist troweling.
Both DRYLOK Concrete Protector and DRYLOK WetLook Sealer are formulated using SaltLok Technology. UGL products are the only products on the market that has this advanced technology. This formulation helps prevent the leaching of these natural water dispersible materials through the masonry.
It might take a couple of years, but pavers, bricks and natural stones will age. Protect these costly investments from staining, mold growth, spalling and deterioration and discoloring by applying a clear sealer.
